This maternity session at Council Grove Lake last February was so cold, but sooo beautiful! That wintery glow was on point to say the least, and it was only rivaled by the glow that these new parents-to-be had!
I first met Sarah through my job at MKC, where she was in accounting and I was the communications intern at the time. We quickly became friends (honestly it felt like we were instant best friends!) and I really looked up to her during my time at MKC. I’m so thankful for our time working together and for the way our friendship has grown over the years! Sarah has such a kind and caring heart, and when she reached out and asked me to capture this sweet time in their lives, I was thrilled!
Their session was the first time I had met her husband, Logan, who was simply the best! He was so sweet and gentle with Sarah, and kept checking with her to make sure she was doing okay. Truly an A++ dad to be! The whole session was just that much more relaxed because they were both so good with taking pictures and up for anything I asked! I so appreciated the way they just allowed me to have fun and capture them in their natural element…together and enjoying this super special time together before their daughter arrived.
These two were not only naturals in front of the camera, but naturals at parenting! It’s been so much fun to watch them step into this new role, and so exciting to be a part of it through photography!
